The SA Super Schools project involves the construction of six new schools by Pinnacle Education.
Pinnacle Education, a consortium between Hansen Yuncken, Spotless, Lend Lease and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, are dedicated to providing quality facilities for these brand new schools.
Supaloc worked closely with the design and construction teams to ensure the designs of the buildings not only achieved the brief of the South Australian Government, but also to ensure constructability, cost budgets, safety and the time critical time lines required.
Work on site commenced in December 2009 on a new Birth to Year 7 school at Blair Athol in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, with construction work on all super schools finalised in June 2010 to enable the first two schools to open as scheduled in October 2010.
A dedicated team was established to provide an environment which supports a team approach to roles and decision making with accountability for the successful delivery of the project to the client.
To successfully deliver all aspects of the project through effective monitoring and control of the project’s activities in line with the contract requirements, and to ensure the end performance levels were within the agreed budget and contract conditions.
